Winners emerge in Aso Savings promo

Winners have emerged in the 2011 edition of the annual Aso Savings & Loans Plc’s promo, which is also known as Save & Grow My House Account promo. A statement made available to our correspondent on Monday said 150 lucky winners were picked in the draw for the various consolation prizes and lucky winners who were present went home with fabulous prizes from the list of 20 flat screen televisions, 30 refrigerators, 40 deep fryers and 50 microwave ovens. The statement said the grand prize of three bedroom flat went to a 43- year old business woman, Mrs. Victoria Nwaigwe, who was a tenant in Abuja. Other consolation prize winners present at the event were; Labaran Sule a customer of the Kaduna branch, Augustin Adonye Green, from Area 8, Garki branch and a native of Bonny, Rivers state. The statement noted that they both went home with LCD televisions. The statement quoted the Managing Director, Aso Savings, Malam Hassan Musa Usman, represented by the Executive Director, Operations, Mr. Mohammed Shehu, as saying, “The 2011 edition of the Aso Save & Grow My Account national promo has created vista of opportunities for both new and existing customers of the bank. It is a mechanism to empower customers, build equity for the My House Account brand and to attract new customers. “It is also a property acquisition platform for all our prospective, new and old customers. Beyond all that the Save & Grow Promo is a financial empowerment medium through which a customer can cultivate good savings habit that will open our customers to two opportunities; one, as you save, you get the chance to win fantastic prizes including the star prize of a three-bedroom luxurious house in Abuja. Two, if you save up to 30 per cent of the cost value of your choice property, with all valid documents of the said property, you are guaranteed a mortgage to acquire such dream home.” The mortgage bank had said that the Save & Win promo was a six -month customers acquisition and account growing marketing campaign to reward lucky winners with fabulous prizes such as 20 flat screen television sets, 30 refrigerators, 40 deep fryers and 50 microwave ovens, while the star prize was a three bedroom bungalow in a choice part of Abuja.
