Lafarge Cement WAPCO Nigeria Plc, a leading cement manufacturing Company has announced the appointment of its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Joe Hudson. According to a statement by the company on Tuesday, Hudson succeeds Mr. Samy Abdelkader, who has taken up another role within the Lafarge Group. A British citizen, Hudson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from the University of Exeter, United Kingdom. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, UK. The statement said he had worked in different capacities with Home Grown Kenya Limited variously as Head of Human Resources and Area Operations Manager in Nairobi and Nanyuki, respectively.
