Winning Rights to Host Conferences in South Africa
South Africa is considering joining the rest of the world in paying money to help win lucrative deals to host conferences. South Africa is set to earn R1.6 billion over the next five years through the hosting 200 conferences with 300,000 delegates.
But all too often South Africa misses out on these deals because other countries put money on the table in negotiations - that could soon change.
