Future of the UN’s Clean Development Mechanism

A hot topic of conversation at COP17 has been the future of the Clean Development Mechanism, or CDM. Regarded as one of the most robust and successful UN instruments to fight climate change many believe that the fate of the CDM hangs in the balance as it's directly tied to the Kyoto protocol.
