Trends in Private Equity Space in Africa
In a year when the IMF has downgraded the UK's 2011 growth forecast to 1.1 percent and the Eurozone is in crisis. Contrast that story with the return potential of Africa, which has enjoyed 10 consecutive years of GDP growth that exceeds the world average.
The IMF is forecasting that 7 out of the 10 fastest growing countries in the world over the next ten years will be in Africa. ABN’s Alishia Seckam crossed to London to look at trends in the private equity space in Africa with Sarah Alexander, Founding President at EMPEA.
