Pieter Uys is the Chief Executive Officer of Vodacom. Vodacom, South Africa's leading cellular operator and a subsidiary of UK-based Vodaphone, has spent over R200 million to rebrand and turn from blue to red and become simpler, a move Pieter Uys said is aimed at changing the role his company plays in its customers' lives by evolving its connectivity from a convenience to a basic need - a package which includes transforming its network, customers' experience and value.
