Power Sector Trends with Carlos Poņe

The pressure on power generation has created a need to upgrade power transmission infrastructure and interconnect power grids in Southern Africa as well as ensure general operating efficiency.

In the rest of Africa, mining projects in mainly DRC and Mozambique continue to create demand for products and systems. This information came to light when unlisted power and automation group ABB South Africa released its full year results earlier today.

Joining ABN's Godfrey Mutizwa in studio to discuss underlying trends in the sector is Carlos Poņe, CEO ABB South Africa.
