Kenya's Dairy Industry with Alex Gathii

Kenya's dairy industry is struggling with an acute shortage of feed such as inputs cotton, soya and sunflower cakes. Stakeholders have warned farmers of possible fodder crop shortage and urged farmers to avoid unnecessary wastages of milk in the greater Rift Valley as a result of the dry spell that began in late December.

To discuss the situation, ABN's Godfrey Mutizwa crosses to our studios in Nairobi to speak with Alex Gathii, Executive Officer at Kenya's National Dairy Traders Association.
