South Africa - Open for Business

Africa Business News and South African Tourism (SAT) have partnered to produce an insightful and vibrant show that will be known as “South Africa - Open for Business”. The new show, which comes as South Africa attracts more visitors after last year’s football world cup, will focus on the business of tourism, hospitality, the conferencing and exhibitions industry and raising the profile of South Africa as a business tourism destination.

"South African Tourism is very excited about our partnership with ABN, which will give a considerable African audience important insight into the business of tourism, its many facets and the industry's considerable contribution to the South African economy," said SAT’s Chief Marketing Officer Roshene Singh.

ABN’s Chief Editor, Godfrey Mutizwa said the show adds to the diversity of content on Africa’s biggest business news television and offers a platform for South Africa and the continent to showcase itself as a lucrative business destination and gateway to doing business on the continent.

The four-part series serves as a build up to Meetings Africa 2012, the African continent's biggest Business Tourism trade show, which is being hosted by South African Tourism from 28 February - 1 March 2012 (followed by Tourism Indaba in May 2012).
