S.Africa gold output falls 3.4 pct y/y in July

South African gold output fell 3.4 percent in volume terms and total mineral production fell 1.0 percent in July compared with the same month last year, data showed on Thursday.

Production of non-gold minerals fell 0.6 percent in July, Statistics South Africa said on its website www.statssa.gov.za.
