Liliesleaf farm marks 46 years since the Rivonia raid

This year Liliesleaf in Rivonia marks 46 years since the Rivonia raid and trial and most of the original structures to this historical site stand as no longer part of the past but the future. Liliesleaf farm possesses a rich and very important part of our country’s history. It is in this farm that the ANC’s military wing MK leaders such as Walter Sisulu, Nelson Mandela and many others were captured and trialled in the famous Rivonia trial that led to the world opening its eyes to the atrocities of apartheid in South Africa.
